[Deed of Jacob Smith to Thomas Jones. 1736]

To all Christian people to whom these presents shall come know ye the Jacob Smith of the Township of Heamstead in queens county on the Island of Nasau in the province of Newyork yeoman consideration of the sum of ten shillings current lawful money of Newyork to me in hand before the insealing hereof by Thomas Jones of the Township of Oysterbay in the county and province abovesaid gentlemen the Receipt whereof I hereby acknowledge and myself there with fully sattisfied consented and paid and hereof and of every part and parcel thereof and by the said presents we sold conveyed and confirmed unto said Thomas Jones his heirs and we forever the one moiety equal half of my Right title and interest on the last part of Heamstead beach in said county and province to Beach Bounded on the last to Southernmost extent of Heamstead patties on the South by the Sea and on the North by the Bay and on the west by the new gentlemen so called to have and to hold unto him and to Thomas Jones his heirs and assigns forever from me my heirs Executors administrators forever as firmly as I had given a firm bill of sale worded in every respect according to law in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty fifth day of fabuary anno domini one thousand seven hundred thirty and six and in the tenth year of the Reign of Our Soveraign lord George the Second.
